This galvanized hexagon bolt M6 x 40 with partial thread is a standard part that you can always use a few of for air-cooled Volkswagens. The DIN 931 standard guarantees that this bolt fits exactly where original hexagon bolts were also used, from carburetor to wheel suspension. Galvanized steel protects against rust, which is good considering the age difference of these cars. Combine this with our other galvanized fasteners for a complete repair project.
