The wiper shaft (141 955 215D) is the heart of your wiper system on the Karmann Ghia. This component carries the wiper rods and must therefore be firmly fixed in the seal under the hood. After decades - you can expect this shaft to wear out - resulting in rattling wipers or system failure. Combine this with a new set of wiper motors and coupling elements for a complete working system.
