This oil filler cap with seal sits on top of your engine block and ensures that your oil doesn't splash out while you're driving. The original design is simple but effective: the cap seals neatly with a rubber gasket that prevents your oil from disappearing on the road and your engine from running dry. With intensive use or after years in the sun - this seal can become porous - so it's not a bad idea to have this replacement in stock. Combine this part with a fresh oil change and your engine compartment will look presentable again.
