These main bearings fit all classic Type 1 engines and are the standard version with 21mm width. They are suitable for both original and bored engines up to normal RPM, provided they are installed correctly and maintained well. Make sure to follow the correct installation procedure and regularly check the bearing quality, especially after an engine overhaul. Combine this with a new crankshaft seal and support ring for a complete restoration project.
