The connecting rod bush is located in the small eye of the connecting rod and bears against the piston pin. This bush (Ø 22mm) is found in T1, T2a, T2b, Type 3, Karmann Ghia and Type 181 engines, and wear on it is primarily noticeable through poor starting or vibrations at low RPMs. These are original VW parts (311 105 431A or 211 105 431Z) which we offer in good condition. Combine this with a complete connecting rod if you are already working on the crankshaft.
