The 228mm clutch plate is the heart of your clutch and ensures the connection between the engine and gearbox. You'll notice wear immediately: juddering when pulling away - difficulty shifting - or a spongy pedal. This original plate (OEM 025 141 031 / 029 141 031) fits T3 models and is best replaced together with the pressure plate and release bearing for a complete clutch. Combine this with a clutch cable or clutch pedal set for a full overhaul.
