VW T1 Bus - T2 Bus - Beetle - KG | Springs and locking pieces for synchromesh 1 & 2 - set | 004 311 311 (x2) & 113 311 245 (x3)
The synchronizer ring must press against the gear wheel and release precisely on time – these springs and locking blocks ensure this. This set contains two coil springs (004 311 311) and three locking blocks (113 311 245) for the first and second gear. They don't wear out quickly - but if your gears start to grind and crunch - they are likely at the end of their lifespan. Combine this with a new synchronizer ring and gear wheel for a complete restoration of your syncromesh.
