The 211 415 049A steering box is the heart of your steering system - converting the rotation of your steering wheel into the linear movements that direct your wheels. This original version fits universally on classic VWs and is usually the first component to show wear if you have a lot of play in the steering. Replace it along with new tie rod ends and a solid coupling rod for precise - reliable steering.
