The center steering rod (211 415 701 1) is the connecting piece between the steering box and the steering linkage - transmitting the movement of the steering wheel to both front wheels. This component is subjected to considerable forces - and wear quickly becomes noticeable as play in the steering system. In a T1 - this is a crucial part that you should keep a close eye on - especially if you drive a lot. We recommend combining this with a steering linkage and tie rod ends for a complete steering system.
