BBT Silver Weld sheet metal. This is the flap mechanism that directs fresh air from your engine hood to the various ventilation channels. It sits in your fresh air box and ensures your heating and defrosting system works properly. The OEM number 211 817 705 is universally applicable to air-cooled VWs. Combine this with a new distributor housing and you have a complete new ventilation system.
