This door handle protector safeguards the inside of your T2 door against damage and wear from repeated hand contact. The replacement part (007 071 081) is fitted on the inside of the door panel and prevents damage to the paint and metal underneath. Replace this already if you are restoring your interior doors anyway, because it's difficult to get to later. Combine this with a new door handle and door pull for a completely finished interior.
