These plastic protective caps prevent your door handles from getting damaged when your car is in a tight garage or parked next to other vehicles. They simply slide over the original handles - giving you a bit of extra clearance without affecting the appearance. For the T1 - they are no longer available as standard - so this original VW 000 071 061C set is great to have in stock. Combine them with new door seals to ensure your doors close properly again.
