BBT Silver Weld sheet metal. These rubber buffers surround the torsion springs of your tailgate, preventing them from directly hitting each other. After years in the sun, they become hard and brittle, causing your tailgate to rattle and the springs to wear out faster. The original VW part number 211 829 147B is hard to find, but we have them in stock. Combine these with new torsion springs yourself if you're already working on it.
