These bumper brackets (111 707 335D) keep your tailgate where it belongs and prevent your bumper from sagging. For a Beetle, they are crucial because they prevent the bumper from vibrating and getting damaged on uneven surfaces. Replace them at the same time as your rear suspension bushes and combine them with new bumper rubber for a complete finish.
