VW T2 Bus | Westfalia pop-top roof canvas, orange, 3 windows, 08/1973-07/1979

High quality pop-top roof canvas for the Westfalia elevating roof of the VW T2 Bus, 08/1973–07/1979. Made from a very luminous 100% cotton fabric with three windows (1 at the front, 2 on the sides), allowing a great amount of light inside, in the characteristic orange colour. The canvas is treated with a combination of a silicon based softener and PVA to ensure a water repellent surface while letting the fabric breathe from the inside. All dyes are free of formaldehyde and AZO groups, with additional reinforcements on the usually fragile spots.

This roof canvas is a reproduction and not a genuine Volkswagen/Westfalia product. It is not 100% waterproof. We recommend treating the seams from the inside (e.g. with Gear Aid Seamgrip) and regularly spraying the fabric from the outside with a waterproofing agent. Close your roof in the event of a thunderstorm. Always verify the measurements match your roof before installation, and have it fitted by a professional upholsterer.
