This is the original white vinyl outer top for your T1 convertible, the part that encloses your roof when the convertible mechanism is closed. Due to years of UV exposure, vinyl ages and discolors, so a replacement is needed if your original top is no longer present. This top sits loosely on top of your convertible frame and is relatively easy to replace yourself. Combine this with new sealing or weatherstripping if you are working on your roof anyway.
