This M12 x 1.5 castle nut (OEM N 11 212 2) is used in many critical areas in your aircooled vehicle: wheel hubs, steering shaft, brake cylinders and more. Its split-design allows you to secure the nut with a split pin, so you can be sure it won't unscrew. For T1, T2, Beetle, KG, and other classics, this is an essential part to check regularly and replace if necessary. Combine this with the accompanying split pins and some fine nut taps for a complete repair.
