This M6 lock nut, according to DIN 985, is used everywhere in your VW where you want bolts to stay securely fastened. The nylon insert ensures that vibrations don't shake it loose, which is always welcome in a vintage Volkswagen. You need it for the carburetor, valves, electrical systems, and numerous other critical points. Combine this lock nut with the appropriate bolt for reliable assembly.
