This galvanized hex socket head cap screw M10 x 60 according to Din 912E works in almost all early VWs and is indispensable for numerous assemblies on the engine, chassis, and body. The hexagonal hex socket head ensures a neat finish and strong contact, while the galvanization prevents rust. You can use it, for example, on the cylinder head, oil cooler, and various mounting points on your T1, T2, Beetle, or KG.
