This rubber seal ensures that your cooling air doesn't escape past the intake, which makes a significant difference to your cooling performance, especially at higher speeds. The original 343 827 081A often hardens or tears, so replacing it is definitely worthwhile. Please note: this fitting varies by model, so double-check if it fits your car. Combine this with a new front rubber seal for a complete air intake service.
