This rubber strip keeps your engine compartment dust-free and seals the front hood tightly against the bodywork. It fits VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and Type 3 as standard, but you can also use it on other air-cooled models. Faded or dried-out rubber should ideally be replaced preventively, otherwise, water and dirt will get into the engine compartment. Combine this part with a new gasket for the carburetor intake flange for a complete overhaul.
