This spring latch is located behind the sliding door of your T2 and ensures that your door stays securely closed without having to be fully latched. The mechanism is simple but effective: the spring holds the door in place so you can get in and out effortlessly. VW manufactured this part under number 211 843 755 - and it remains the original design for the T2a and T2b. Combine this with our top sliding door latch for a complete working locking mechanism.
