This engine hatch seal (211 827 711C) prevents oil from leaking from the valve cover and ensures a clean seal between the engine and the cover. For T2a and T2b models - this is a wear part that should be replaced regularly - especially if you notice oil leaking from the valve cover. Combine this with a new valve cover gasket set for a complete overhaul of the engine housing.
