This rubber seal ensures that your fresh air flap fits tightly against the bodywork - preventing dirt and water from entering. After decades - the original seal may have hardened and no longer seal properly. With OEM number 211 817 757 - this is a suitable replacement - for both T1 and later Beetle and Bus models. Combine this with a new fresh air flap itself if it is also worn.
