This rubber sealing strip prevents water and dirt from entering your taillight where they can cause rust and corrosion. The original rubbers often become hard and porous - losing their effectiveness and allowing water to seep behind the light. This set contains two pieces for your Type 2a or Type 181 - cut according to OEM spec 211 945 245B. Combine this with new taillight lenses and gaskets for a complete restoration of your taillight unit.
