This rubber sealing strip is located on the inside of your pop-out side window and ensures a tight seal against the roof window. The replacement (OEM 221 847 135A) usually becomes porous and hard after years, allowing drafts and water to enter. A replaced unit immediately gives you noticeably more comfort and protection against the elements. Combine this with a new rubber sealing strip for the outside of the window for a completely renewed system.
