Operating lever for the top latch mechanism of the VW Karmann Ghia convertible up to 11/1968, with OEM number 141 871 587. The lever sits on the inside of the top bow and operates the lock that clamps the convertible top onto the windscreen header. Replacement is necessary in case of breakage or a worn pivot causing the top to no longer close tightly.
