These rubbers sit between the convertible frame and the body of your Beetle and prevent the frame from clicking against the steel. After decades, they become hard and simply crumble away, which can cause rattling and water ingress. The set consists of two rubbers (151 871 409A and 151 871 410A) and is not difficult to replace. Combine this with fresh sealing rubbers around the convertible top for a complete result.
