This coolant hose connects the supply line to the main distributor - ensuring proper distribution of coolant to all cylinders. On a T3 - this is a wear part that deserves regular inspection - especially if you notice the engine running hotter than usual or if you see small leaks around the connections. The original BBT part 251 121 102 fits perfectly and lasts a long time. Combine this with fresh hoses for the return line - and your cooling system will be completely refreshed.
