The expansion tank regulates the pressure in your cooling system and accommodates the thermal expansion of the coolant. For a T3 - this component is essential for your engine—without a properly functioning tank - you'll experience leaks and overheating. This original VW tank (025 121 403A or 025 121 407 - depending on your engine) fits perfectly and prevents you from constantly having to refill coolant. Combine this with a new radiator rubber and some screw clamps for a completely dry system.
