The slip ring in your steering wheel ensures that the horn signal and turn signals move with your steering column without cable breaks. This part wears out - especially if you turn a lot or drive with a loose steering wheel. With OEM number 113 415 660A - you're good to go for T2b - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia - and Type 181. Combine this with a new steering wheel - and you'll have a properly functioning steering control.
