This chrome plate is located directly behind the engine and ensures that warm air is directed to the carburetor and the windshield. On cold mornings - this is a nice detail that helps your heating system get up to temperature faster. Perfect as an original replacement or upgrade for T1 - T2a - Beetle and Karmann Ghia models. Combine this with a complete heater hose kit for the full system.
