This 165 main jet fits Solex, Brosol, and Empi carburetors and regulates how much fuel is injected at higher RPMs. The difference between jet sizes is directly noticeable in your engine: too large and it runs rich, too small and you lose power. For your T1 to T4, or your Beetle and Karmann Ghia, this is a standard part that needs regular replacement, especially with original engines. Combine this with a new needle valve and spray can for a complete carburetor service.
