The 170 air jet is the fine-tuning tool in your Dellorto DRLA carburetor. This jet determines how much fuel is injected into the main circuit via the air passages - directly affecting your mixture in the mid-range. A 170 jet is suitable for standard to lightly tuned engines. Combine this with the correct needle position and you'll have the carburetor exactly where you want it.
