The Weber 32/36 progressive is a reliable upgrade for those who want their T1 - T2 or Beetle to breathe better without immediately going for a larger carburettor. This type works with two stages - where the second cylinder only kicks in when you really step on the gas - which provides much smoother driving behaviour than single-stage models. It fits the original mounting and is one of the most popular choices for newly restored and mild tune-ups. Combine this part with a well-tuned distributor and clean fuel lines for optimal results.
