This vacuum T-piece is located on your intake manifold and distributes vacuum to various components such as the distributor and brake booster pump. On Type 4 engines - this plastic piece is quite critical because it controls ignition timing and brake operation - and cracks over time due to temperature changes. This replacement part OEM 071 129 755A fits T2a - T2b - T3 and Type 4 engines. Combine this with a new vacuum hose set to get your vacuum system fully in order.
