This rubber connection ensures a tight contact between your carburetor and air filter without air leaks. It is under pressure - so check it regularly for cracks or hardening if you are experiencing starting problems. Suitable replacement part 211 129 627 - suitable for T1 - T2a - T2b and Karmann Ghia. Combine this boot with a new carburetor gasket for a complete seal.
