The intake rubber between the carburetor and cylinder head ensures a seal without air leakage. This OEM rubber (043 129 617A) is essential for a stable mixture - and a rougher running engine is often the first sign that it needs replacement. Check it during maintenance of your fuel supply system - especially if you have just installed a new carburetor. Combine this rubber with a new intake flange for a complete seal.
