The 37 PICT-3 is the standard carburetor for T1 and T2 engines that require a slightly richer mixture from the factory. This original OEM-type 113 129 031K delivered reliable mixture with its mechanical choke and was built in large numbers, so you can still find many parts and support. Perfect if you want to upgrade your air-cooled without immediately thinking about turbos and injection. Combine this with a new manifold and you'll already notice a significant difference in responsiveness.
