This gasket sits between the carburetor and the intake manifold and prevents fuel leaks. After years in the sun - the original often becomes porous and starts to leak. VW part number 341 129 799A fits under the Solex 32 PBIC and 32PDSIT - so check which carburetor your T1 - Type 3 or Karmann Ghia has. Combine this with a new sealing kit for the intake manifold to seal everything properly at once.
