This gasket sits between the carburetor and the intake manifold and ensures a good seal to prevent air leakage. If it is worn - you will experience poor idle control and an inefficient mixture. VintageDub supplies the replacement part N 13 776 1 which fits perfectly on all 28-31 PICT carburetors. Combine this gasket with a new carburetor kit for a complete overhaul.
