These paper gaskets ensure a good seal between your dual-port manifold and cylinder head, preventing unwanted air leaks that can spoil your mixture. They wear out relatively quickly due to heat, so it's smart to keep a set in stock if you're working on your intake manifold anyway. Make sure the mounting surface is clean and flat for best results. Combine these with a new gasket under the carburetor flange for a complete seal.
