This red rubber boot seamlessly connects your carburetor to the intake manifold - ensuring an airtight seal on your 1300cc engine. The replacement part (113 129 729C) wears out over the years and starts to leak - resulting in irregular idling and higher emissions. With a clean carburetor and this new boot - you'll immediately notice better performance. Combine this with new vacuum hoses and clean injection for optimal operating pressure.
