These are the original bends for your intake manifold on 1600cc engines - OEM numbers 113 129 709G and 113 129 710D. They connect your manifold to the cylinder head and ensure a good gas-tight sealing surface. Because these parts are continuously exposed to heat - they often wear out first and tend to give up the ghost. Combine them with a new gasket and you'll have a really clean assembly.
