The condenser for your 009 distributor ensures a clean spark and prevents wear on the contact points. This is the part you want to replace when your distributor is serviced or if your ignition becomes erratic. Fits T1 - T2 - T3 - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia - and Type 181. Combine this with replacement contact points and a new distributor rotor for a complete service.
