This Bosch ignition coil (111 905 105H) is the original ignition coil for your 6V system and fits T1 - Type 3 and Karmann Ghia. It's a straightforward component that regulates your ignition voltage and gets the spark plugs working. Make sure to check your transmitter cable and spark plugs at the same time - as they usually wear out with the ignition coil.
