This BBT spark plug (OEM N 017 801 13) is the standard ignition point for your aircooled Volkswagen and simply a reliable choice that works well in T1 - T2a - T2b - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia - and Type 181. Make sure you have the correct heat range for your engine and maintenance schedule - because a bad spark plug will immediately cause starting and running problems. Feel free to combine this with a complete set of spark plug wires and a new condenser for the full tune-up.
