This distributor cap (OEM 113 905 207C) sits on top of your distributor and ensures that the spark is properly distributed to the spark plugs. It is a wear part that cracks or splits over time - especially on the inside where the contact points are located. If you hear engine knocking or if it doesn't start properly - this is often the culprit. Combine this with a new rotor arm and a set of new contact points for a complete refresh.
