This air outlet rubber (022 903 655) ensures that warm air from the 70Amp alternator is properly discharged and does not remain in your engine compartment. For T2b engines - this is an important part to keep your charging efficient and prevent the alternator from overheating. Red rubber that can show cracks or hardening after a few decades - so it's a good item for the checklist when you're working on your T2. Combine this with a new alternator belt or fan parts for a complete service.
