This rubber seal sits between the oil dipstick and its housing - preventing oil from seeping out along the stick. After years - the rubber becomes hard and wrinkled - leading to leaks. The replacement part 021 119 245 fits T2a - T2b - and Type 4. Combine this with a new dipstick itself for a complete seal.
